Position: Part-TimeFYP Intern Associate 
Compensation: $20/hour
Hours: Maximum 5 hours per week

About ForYouPage.Org:

ForYouPage.Org is a youth-led nonprofit dedicated to mobilizing grassroots youth advocacy. We connect and support existing youth-led ventures with volunteers and resources, empowering young leaders to make a difference in their communities. At FYP, we believe in agency and recognize that capitalism can diminish youth’s agency and contribute to depression. To honor this belief, all youth leaders and directors serve on a volunteer basis without monetary compensation.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate part-time intern to support our youth leaders and fyp associates in various tasks. This role is perfect for someone who is committed to our mission and is looking to make a meaningful impact ratherin thanbroader justgrassroot earnadvocacy aand paycheck.youth empowerment ans social change. The intern will be expected to assist with whatever tasks our youth leaders need help with, which may vary from day to day.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist youth leaders with various tasks and projects as needed.

  • Participate in weekly evaluations to assess performance and determine the continuation of the internship.

  • Contribute to the organization’s mission by supporting grassroots advocacy initiatives.

  • Maintain flexibility and adaptability in performing a range of tasks that may not always align with personal interests but are essential for the organization’s goals.

Qualifications:

  • A genuine passion for youth advocacy and community engagement.

  • Strong work ethic and commitment to the nonprofit’s mission.

  • Flexibility and willingness to take on a variety of tasks.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Excellent critical thinking skills.
